Attention all new and returning Lacrosse Officials. We are pleased to announce the upcoming classroom and field training dates, listed below. As you all know you must attend at least one of these sessions to be certified for the 2009 season. These training sessions will include a classroom section where the rule book will be fully reviewed and questions regarding rules and mechanics will be addressed. Following the classroom sessions, at Culver City only, a scrimmage will be held where officials will work on their mechanics and penalty recognition. We ask that returning officials please bring their uniforms, and new officials come with set clothing comfortable for running. Cleats are strongly recommended. This will be the only scrimmage scheduled following the classroom session. In addition we must remind you that all officials must have insurance to officiate. This can be obtained by becoming a member of US Lacrosse as an Official or through the National Association Of Sports Officials. Class Schedule: The classroom session will run from 9 am– 12pm and the field session will run from 1pm – 3pm A map is attached to guide you to the classroom. Directions to the field are below. Please remember that this game will not be played on the field that is used for Lacrosse during the regular season.
